Transition to Primary One
We have developed an excellent transition programme here at Ladeside where the children moving on to Primary 1 are involved not only with activities at our own school but with links with the schools in our catchment. At the end of the ELC year, if your child is moving on to primary school, information about your child will be shared with you and then passed to the primary school that your child is due to attend.
Different primary schools have different induction procedures and you will be kept fully informed by the 'receiving' primary school of their induction procedures to welcome their new primary one pupils.
